I am serving as a HABIT therapist and am currently working with Christine Call on a research project using existing PHAB data.

My primary research interest is related to the etiology, diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of alcohol use disorder. I will be leaving the PHAB Lab at the end of August and heading to a Research Assistant Professor position at The University of New Mexico’s Center on Alcohol, Substance use, And Addiction.

Christine Call

Clinical Psychology Intern

I am serving as a HABIT therapist and am currently involved in some research projects using existing PHAB data, including: one investigating the relation of body image during pregnancy to perceived stress and depressive symptoms during and after pregnancy in women with pre-pregnancy overweight/obesity, and the other, along with Cassie Boness, examining how different race categorizations impact the relation of race to loss of control over eating during pregnancy and postpartum in women with pre-pregnancy overweight/obesity.

My research interests are broadly in identifying predictors of outcome in interventions for obesity and eating disorders, with the goal of using that information to improve existing interventions or develop novel interventions. In June, I will be transitioning to postdoc at Pitt on a T32 and will continue to work in the PHAB lab.
